This site has "sprung" from our network that was formerly on NING at http://www.allstarmarketing.ning.com and is the result of Ning forcing network operators to pay premium prices or kill all 3rd party advertising which would include the banners and such that people place on their profiles.

Our take on the situation is that is you don't want people doing that, then DON'T offer "free"service, because that is exactly what is going to happen.

Additionally, regardless of whether you are paying the $4.95 for use of your own domains, $24.95 to remove their ads and any of the other "premium" fees that they charge, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL for support is you ever hope to hear anything from them in the way of support tickets.

Anyway, here we are and we'll build our network here, with far more benefits to members than we were ever able to offer at the Ning site. I'm not sure how many members will come over, but we built that network to 700 plus and we'll do the same here.

There are some general rules that must be followed. As long as everyone sticks to those rules we'll be fine. Skirt outside them and we'll have to take a look at things.

In general, some of the more common sense things include:
1. No hateful remarks to anyone, regardless of the content and regardless of whether it points to sexual orientation, religion, race or anything else along those lines.
2. Do not, and I repeat DO NOT post your offers in other peoples groups, in their threads when we start the forum, in the blogs, by way of comments, and most of all, in their profiles.
